Stephen Field, MBA - Chief Executive

Stephen Field (aged 53) gained a degree in civil engineering from the University of London in 1977 and having started his career in the project management field, he later went on to rise to senior project manager position for Shell Expro. Following this, Stephen went on to be appointed Director of construction for the Conder Group, with a specific responsibility for curtain wall projects.

Stephen has over 20 years experience in the sector within which the group operates, and was previously Managing Director of Portal from 1989 to 1993. From 1993 to 1997, Stephen acted as Managing Director of three operations companies for Yule Catto & Co PLC, before joining Melayway Glass Assemblies Ltd in 1997 as Business Development Director.

In 2007, under Stephen’s direction, Melayway, alongside Spacedecks and Portal was to become a part of The Metic Group PLC, of which Stephen is now the Chief Executive Officer.
